Social Impact

We believe that we are responsible for contributing positively towards building a country that is all inclusive and creates equal opportunities for all. We are committed to being part of the change we want to see and have as a core value, that our presence in communities has to go beyond just rendering fee based services. Here are some initiatives we have spearheaded:

Heaven’s Nest Child Care Centre

Our recent collaboration with Heaven’s Nest focused on amplifying their vital work as an emergency foster care facility for at-risk youth. To support their long-term sustainability, we produced a spotlight profile video and a suite of digital media assets to boost donor acquisition and elevate their online visibility.

To bring some joy to the children, we also delivered personalised gift packs loaded with toys, creative supplies, and essential items to encourage play during their stay. Our goal was to help Heaven’s Nest with some essential tools while ensuring the children felt valued, celebrated, and supported.

Renovations at the Mother Theresa Healing Centre

It was a privilege for our team to partner with this wonderful, privately run facility and contribute to the vital work they do for the local community. Recognising that the physical environment plays a massive role in the comfort and well-being of its residents, we set out to provide some much-needed upgrades to refresh and revitalize the space.

Seeing the gratitude and joy on the faces of the residents when they saw the finished results was incredibly moving. Knowing that these changes will bring long-term comfort and dignity to their daily routines makes this project one of the most rewarding initiatives we have ever been a part of.

HNA Student Leadership Bursary

True community impact means investing heavily in the leaders of tomorrow. In 2017, we proudly established the HNA Leadership Bursary to alleviate some of the financial burdens often associated with higher education. Specially created to benefit a deserving student at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), this bursary is designed to empower young academics who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a passion for community service, helping them unlock their full potential and create a lasting legacy of positive change.

Sanitary Pad Drive for St. Michael’s Child and Youth Care Centre

Dignity and health are basic human rights that should never be compromised by a lack of resources. In support of this we organized and executed a targeted Sanitary Pad Drive in aid of St. Michael’s Child and Youth Care Centre in Plumstead. Thanks to the generosity of our network, this initiative provided the center’s young residents with essential hygiene products, ensuring they can focus on their education and personal growth with confidence, dignity, and uninterrupted peace of mind.

Teddy Bear Drive

Healing goes far beyond physical rehabilitation; it requires emotional comfort, reassurance, and joy. With this in mind, we launched a heartfelt initiative collecting teddy bears across Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Port Elizabeth to distribute to vulnerable children undergoing challenging times. By delivering these simple tokens of comfort to local hospitals, safe houses, and underprivileged communities, our goal was to bring a smile to their faces and spread a message of hope, warmth, and solidarity nationwide.

Free Health Talks

Education is one of the most powerful tools for health advocacy, and we are dedicated to making vital medical knowledge accessible to everyone. We regularly host free, interactive health talks and wellness workshops within various local communities and care facilities. These sessions cover essential topics such as fall prevention, mobility maintenance, and chronic pain management, equipping seniors, families, and caregivers with practical insights to improve their daily quality of life and take proactive control of their well-being.

Staff Training & Upskilling

We believe that empowering healthcare workers is fundamental to elevating the standard of patient care across the board. To support this, we partner with numerous residential facilities and care centers to offer specialised training sessions designed to upskill their staff. By focusing on safe patient handling techniques and ergonomic practices, these workshops not only enhance the daily comfort and dignity of the patients but also crucially protect care workers from occupational injuries, fostering a safer, more sustainable caregiving environment.
